How to setup your email on Microsoft Outlook ExpressThese instructions show you how to configure your email account with ph9 / uporium / Antiques Web Design. To set up non-ph9 / uporium / Antiques Web Design email accounts, contact the company that has provided you with that email account Please read the following BEFORE proceeding:-
STEP ONE: ========= a) Click on the "Tools" menu and choose "Accounts" b) Click on "Add" and "Mail" c) If you have already tried to set up the account, click on the name of it and choose "Properties" and skip to stage three STEP TWO: (if adding a new account) ============================== a) Enter in your display name, this will be the name you will want people to see on emails you send them, press next b) Enter in the email address we have provided, press next c) Enter mail.ph9mail.co.uk in the Incoming Mail and Outgoing Mail boxes as below, press next d) Enter in your email address in the username box e) Enter in your password in the password box f) Press next, press finish g) Click on the account you`ve just created, (mail.ph9mail.co.uk), and press "Properties" STEP TWO (if modifying an account): ============================== a) Make sure your details are correct as shown on the left box in the screenshot below b) Click on "Servers" and make sure your details tie in with the box on the right in the screenshot below STEP THREE: =========== a) Click on the "Servers" tab, if not already there b) Tick the box "My Server requires authentication" c) Press "Settings" d) Make sure that "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" option is selected e) Press okay, press okay, press close Please note / disclaimer - We provide a email accounts as part of our service. These email accounts can be accessed directly using our web based email system at www.ph9mail.co.uk. You can also configure the software of your choice (such as the above) to access your email. However as this software isn`t made or provided by us we can not provide any warranty on it, or it working correctly. So these instructions are provided "as is" and as a guide.
