Instagram/facebook shopping allows you to essentially have a catalogue of all your products on the Meta (Instagram/facebook) platform so that you can tag them in posts, and get more visitors buying from your website after seeing you on Instagram.

A major limitation of Instagram is that when you post onto your feed or story you can't put any links in.
