What if two people refer the same client?
This is a tricky one and has happened before!
If we're in this situation then of course we need to work out who the referral fee gets paid to. In most cases we'd simply ask the client who has been referred, and ask them who recommended them to ascertain this.
If the client says that it was two people who recommended them, then we'd split the referral fee between them.
