What formats of video can I upload?
In theory pretty much any format is supported for upload, but if possible try and upload mpeg (mp4) format as this will be the quickest to process.
Our video facility supports a wide range of video formats, which include (but are not limited to):-
- Videos made with an iPhone
- Videos made with an iPad
- Videos made with most Android phones (Samsung, Google Pixel, HTC, etc etc)
- Videos made with most DSLR or digital cameras (Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc)
- Videos made with a GoPro
- AVI format
- MPEG format
- MP4 format
- H264
- H265
- QuickTime
... and more
Regardless of which format you upload a video in, videos are automatically converted behind the scenes so that they can be played back in the majority of web browsers, phones and tablets.
