Setup variations for products (e.g different sizes or colours)

Setting up variations

To setup a variation for an item so that people can order different colours, sizes, options etc do the following:-

1. In the website manager, navigate to the item then click on the variations tab

2. Set the first group name - e.g Size

3. Set any additional group names

4. Add all the required options to the first group, then any subsequent groups after.

5. The website will then calculate all of the different variation options. For example if you have a product that has:

2 colour options - Red & Green

and

3 size options - Small, Medium & Large

You would have entered Red and Green as options in the Size Group & Small Medium & Large as options in the Size Group.

The website will then calculate the following variations:-

Red - Small
Red - Medium
Red - Large
Green - Small
Green - Medium
Green - Large

Each variation can have it's own stock number, stock level and price if required.
