Import from a spreadsheet (CSV file)

If you have products (items/stock) that you'd like to import into one of our off the shelf / ready-made websites in a spreadsheet (eg Excel or CSV file) then there's a few ways you can do this.

The easiest way is to put the data into our template format and use the importer built into our website manager. There's no charge for this, but you do need to be on a particular plan in order to use this feature.

If your data isn't in our template format or needs to be put into our template format, we offer custom imports but there is a charge for this.

Import using our template format

You can import items from a spreadsheet (CSV file) using our template spreadsheet format.

This is easy to do using a tool built into our website manager.

There is no cost to use this service, but it's not available on all plans.

We have instructions available on the website manager, together with a template spreadsheet and example spreadsheets.

To use this facility:-

1) Login to the website manager

2) Go to the "Shop (items/products)" menu and then "Main Shop Menu"

3) From this menu page, go to "Import items from spreadsheet" underneath "Import and export"

4) From here you'll find an importer, instructions, a template spreadsheet and example spreadsheets

 

Import from a custom format

If you can't get your data into our template format, or you need assistance putting it into our template format then we can provide assistance.

There is a charge for this service however.
