How do I match items I've already added to The Hoarde to items I've already added to my website?


Scenario
 
You've added a number of items to The Hoarde DIRECTLY using their website (not using your website manager with us).
 
AND
 
You've separately added those same items to your website manager with us.
 
As such, there isn't a "link" between the two meaning that the website manager reports these items haven't been added to The Hoarde.
 
This could also cause you to re-add the item to The Hoarde resulting in duplicates.
 
 
What to do
 
In your website manager, go to:-
 
1) "Marketplaces and integrations" in the main menu
2) Then pick "The Hoarde"
3) Scroll down to the "Match items separately uploaded" section and follow the on screen instructions and the website manager will attempt to automatically match these items for you based on the item name and/or reference number(s).
 
 
Limitations
 
The item matcher works using reference numbers and item names uploaded to The Hoarde.
 
If you've called the same item a different name, or used a different reference number, then the matcher won't be able to make a match as for all intensive purposes these aren't the same item.
 
Also, due to limitations in the services provided by The Hoarde, which we use to help match your products, we’re unable to retrieve certain details such as periods, period descriptions, and categories once an item has been uploaded onto The Hoarde.

As a result, if you update a product after it has been matched from your website to The Hoarde, you may need to re-enter this missing information when updating the product on your website.
