How do I make it so a specific item will have delivery quoted for after it is purchased?

You have a bulky item or an item which needs to have a bespoke delivery quote created for it after it is purchased.

eg:-

Most of the items on your website can be purchased as normal, and normal delivery pricing applies

One or some items on your website are difficult to ship and require a bespoke delivery quote to be created after the item is purchased.

When adding or updating an item, click on the "Delivery" tab on that item's details in the website manager.

On the "Delivery" tab:-

a) Set the "Delivery lead time text" to something along the lines of "We will calculate delivery for this item after purchase and contact you to take payment for delivery of this item"

b) Then set "Get visitor to agree to this when adding to basket" to "Yes".

This will make it so this message appears if they add this item to their basket
